9 reasons why M106 is the bestest batch in de uni (universe)!!

.

1. we hav a very good cheer - the funky chicken cheer!!

which was copied from gp1 of orientation which was copied from a sem3 senior which was copied from sum singaporean university.

.

2. we are a joyful bunch of people.

it takes very little to make us happy. just repeat de "brainstem" song over n over again n watch us laugh out our CSF.

3. we respect our lecturers.

we clap for every single time we can. we clap after lectures. we even clap after lame jokes by the lecturer.

.

4. we remember each other's birthdays

we sing the birthday song almost every single day. n when there isn't anybody's birthday, what do we do?? we do wat barney does.. we make believe.. n to date... our friendly neighbourhood kajen is 872512 years old and counting!!

5. we act professional

in order to b a good doctor, one muz always carry a papa patho n a papa dorlands everywhere one go. we must also wear a lab coat in csu, labs or when it is cold in the lecture theatre. btw.. always rmb ur pen torch.. u'll nvr noe when it might come in handy.. yes.. even in taman negara..

6. we have the best cheerleaders

our cheerleaders r de best!! sem 5 got second coz they r leavin n its charity case.. pharm won coz they r on drugs!! referee kayu!!

7. we practise what we preach

doctors always tell their patients to get sufficient sleep and eat healthily.. what better place to demonstrate how much we mean what we say than the lecture theatre itself?? TKS is our pelajar contoh.. look at his pic in de post below.. memang superman.. since super is not a medical term.. SPERMAN!! ahh... dats more medical student-like..

8. we are not nerds

we do not study as much as the other batches.. all work n no play makes jack a dull boy.. y study so hard for exams?? if wan so kiasu go 2 NUS la.. anyway how hard can a 1 hour exam b rite?? dats is why we hav a record breaking dropout rate in IMU history.. not bad.. another first..

9. we are good in sports

we cheer the loudest for every single events.. let me assure u.. this is not a case of empty vessels making a lot of noise.. our effort reaps its crop.. we got the posterior-most place for IMU cup.. not bad at all.. bravo!! bravo!! way 2 go M106.. but after all.. IMU cup isn't about winning rite?? its a bout de togetherness.. n we r de ones who truly understand the meaning of togetherness..

Nine Outcomes, Huh?

In a pathetic attempt to revive this blog - it better not die so fast! - here you are, reading one of my crappy posts again. Hehe.

Anyway, I was thinking, since IMU is always talking abt the 9 outcomes (erm, I dunno any of them, blek), why not we write down the 9 outcomes of having a M106 blog? [yeah, crappy, but I dunno what to write here eh...]

The Nine Outcomes of a M106 Blog:

1. to be a place to ahem, "diseminate information" abt Imu? Nothing like sharing where's the best places to study [huh?] or which lecturers you think are the coolest in Imu. :) Random topics encouraged.

2. a place to share our joys or sadness that we go thru as a batch... A place to talk abt events in Imu.. Be it a funny class, a sudden fire drill or even Imu Cup... Anything goes~ Photos anyone? Camwhores wildly welcomed. *winks*

3. to promote friendships among batchmates so that you don't go "Who?" when your friend is talking abt that pretty girl/hot guy that sits just in front of you during lectures. =P Sucha shame, isn't it?

4. a platform where you can air your opinions or disatisfaction. We're like to improve our general knowledge too. And then the dean will say that our blog is nothing but... the most educational blog of all. *smug smile*

5. to keep up with the 101 of who's going out with, who's going after who etc... *psst, gossip alert* Tongues Fingers are wagging. lol.

6. just tot of this. A place to discuss our weekly woes of PBL!! Ah.. We could share information or smtg? Share info on our lectures? Which books to buy? To buy or not to buy? But that would make it kinda boring, woudn't it? *shrug* We can't escape jargons anymore!! :T

7. well, since a lot of the posts here are supposed to be hilarious *cough cough*, this blog can definitely be a stress buster! Hey, you shld be smiling while reading this post eh. Pretty please? *shiny eyes* [I think I watch too much anime ade..]

8. basically, just a place for ppl like me, who have nothing better to do, but talk crap to a bunch of ppl. Blek.

9. err...how come they're so good at crapping and can come up with nine outcomes? I'm beat. You think the last one yourself lah. -_-
